A journey through time

Yesterday, today, tomorrow

The heritage farm Lüch da Ciampidel was mentioned for the first time in 1296. The historic house with a private chapel and an old farmhouse was formerly used by the farmers for self-sufficiency. The farm has passed into the hands of the Agreiter-Campidell family for 13 generations. Since the very beginning, they have been cultivating fields, breeding animals for meat, eggs and milk production, and keeping horses as livestock.

  • At the beginning, the focus was on milk production: from 1985 to 2010, the milk was collected every day from the local Alpine dairy Senni in Brunico. Later, the family switched to suckler cow husbandry and the production of quality meat.

  • In 2010 the stable buildings were rebuilt and the milk production was replaced by meat production.

  • The son Christian completed his apprenticeship as a butcher and joined his parents' business. With a lot of passion now he takes over the big responsibility for the meat production.

  • It is not quantity that matters, but quality. Awards and quality labels prove the success: Quality Mark Roter Hahn, Quality Mark South Tyrol and Blue-Blanc-Coeur

  • Future vision: Lüch da Ciampidel is always on the lookout for new ideas to expand its product range and offer consumers the best possible service.

  • The outstanding reputation of the farm is well known: not only in the farm shop, but also in selected hotels and special shops in the retail trade, are supplied with fresh meat and other specialities.
